Japan Direct Motors is owned and operated by true automotive enthusiasts. We have extensive experience in the classic and collectible car industry as well as considerable experience in the import/export business. Our headquarters is in Irmo, South Carolina and we have an office in Japan where our vehicles are individually selected for importing. We explore every possible source to find quality JDM right hand drive vehicles and other unique imports. We find the vehicles, setup the shipping, and handle all the import paperwork. We get a South Carolina dealer title for every vehicle which can be transferred to your state directly, like any other used car title. We take the worry and hassle out of buying a vehicle sourced outside of the US.

Each vehicle is unique just as every customer. We focus exclusively on importing vehicles that are 25 years or older. Our imports are 100% legal. There are many misconceptions about owning and driving foreign-built vehicles that have been imported into the US. At Japan Direct Motors, we are experts at providing quality, legally imported vehicles for our customers. The vehicles we import are 100% legal in all 50 states in the US. We only import vehicles that meet the legal requirements or being 25 years and older. We follow all customs and import laws to bring non-standard vehicles to customers in the US. All the vehicles we import are right hand drive (RHD) as opposed to US specification vehicles that are left hand drive (LHD).
