    For a vehicle that was not originally sold in the U.S. to be federally legal in the U.S., it must be at least 25 years old and have been properly imported. All of our vehicles comply with all U.S. importation laws and come with all supporting documents to prove so. All of our vehicles come with a clean South Carolina title ready to be transferred into your name. Buying JDM from Japan Direct Motors is just as easy as buying a regular USDM car from any dealership.

  • Our primary source is Japan.

    We look for rare and unique 4×4’s in all corners of the world. There have been many great vehicle platforms that were never available here in the US. Our primary source is Japan, but we also deal with vehicles from Australia, Europe, and South America.

  • We do not do in house financing; however, we will work with you and your lending institution to secure financing whenever necessary. We recommend LightStream.com for most customers, and Atlanta Postal Credit Union (APCU.com) if you are a postal carrier looking for a mail vehicle. You can also try specialty financing companies that focus on classic and collectible vehicle purchases, such as Best Bank Company. We can help provide inspections and appraisal data to get you the loan you need.

  • Yes.

    Some of the vehicles we offer for sale were also sold in the U.S. market. In this case, most of the parts that are made for the USDM model can be used on the JDM model. For the models that were never offered for sale in the U.S. market, parts may be a little more difficult to find, but any reputable shop will still be able to perform the service or repair.     Kei trucks have a dedicated following and aftermarket support worldwide. There are many providers of aftermarket accessories, performance upgrades, and replacement parts. We recommend checking Ebay for most of you parts needs.
